Looking for a bit less action, more romance and character development > action

Mirai nikki (future diary) is similar to deadman wonderland but with more romance and the last few episodes were great (really changed the plot up for me), usually during movies or shows you can expect and easily guess what'll happen next or in the end, with all the clues they give, but this was totally unexpected. You'll love it, I know tons of people who did
