So I started watching it yesterday, and I read up and been hearing the ending is bad. Should I watch past episode 12 (episode when he saves Inori and Gai dies), which seems like the end of season 1? Thoughts?

Also, if anyone could recommend more action/fighting animes. (IE Bleach, soul eater, gundam seed). I was planning on naruto, but I have to start from the very first episode (lol) and I waiting til i have less work to start.

Ending is the harshest ever, but probably one of my favorite animes of all time.

Guilty Crown had a ridiculous plot made of up of the most overused tropes in the book without a single new idea behind it and pitiful plot twists taken out of their asses just for the heck of it.

Could go on and on about the things I hate about the show but that is the most obvious issue. It's basically a unintentional parody of everything that made Code Geass R2 bad.
Personally got a brain tumour from trying to make sense of that incoherent mess. The only way a sane person could enjoy it is if they stopped paying attention to what's happening or is extremely new to the medium and doesn't know any better.

Still gave it 2.5/10 though. It was enjoying to make fun of and had great visuals.

as far as finishing it goes, you might as well. but don't really expect it to get better.

but geass r2 was likely more of an intentional parody of the mecha genre + anime tropes in general. it plot twisted so often with the most ridiculous shit it wasn't even a shock anymore that the "plot" totally flipped directions.

gc just takes itself too seriously. and shu's a fucking moron. i hate emo protags that go HURRR FEEEEEEEEELINGS and in the next breath, ONOES MY FRIENDS, THE POWER OF LOVE COMPELS ME. and somehow pull shit out of their ass that trumps everything.
