so i bought a 16 disc set that is supposed to be the complete series. so howcome after the end of season one, disc 10, when ed is in ''our'' world with his father trying to get back to his own, the next disc, elven, picks up wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back when they was first put under mustangs control? fighting some freezing alchemist? im soo confused and dont even want to watch the other discs bc of this

Why would you buy it when its on TV/Internet?

i dont watch much t/v, and i bought it b/c i have a odd sleep schedule. but thx for the useless post

because some people like owning physical copies? maybe they don't have a lot of bandwidth or maybe they don't mind buying it?

edit: wait are you talking about the original FMA or FMAB? maybe both? They are both different series and FMAB follows the manga. Both start similar but go to different stories.
I only bring this all up because the part with the freezing alchemist sounds like it is from the first episode of FMAB

How much was it? I like to have some animes on dvd's insted of online.

I got both plus the movie

First set Ed is left into our world and the story finishes with the movie.

the next set is the Brotherhood, this series follows the Manga storyline and with a different plot and some new characters - I personally prefer this one.

hmm i guess ill watch the britherhood one, i keep hearing its good from freinds. thx guys

I liked the first series better overall, though Brotherhood had a better ending/last 10 episodes.
