In the June issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine this week, the last panel of Norihiro Yagi's Claymore manga announced that the series has come to an end. The magazine issue does not reveal what Yagi is planning to do next.

In the issue's back page, where authors are given a line of text to send messages to readers, Yagi simply wrote, "My editor dropped off some of those super-spicy Peyoung noodles that everyone is talking about these days. I tried them, and they did a number on me." The June issue's preview page for the next issue does not list Claymore.

Volume 22 of the manga is slated to be released on June 4 in Japan. In North America, Viz will publish the 20th manga volume in July, and Funimation released the Claymore anime adaptation produced by MADHOUSE.

Was planning on this for my next assignment once I finish Mushi-shi.

I was wondering though, how inappropriate is this series? I was hoping to watch it with my little sister (she loves animes), but noticed it was rated TV-MA. :/

it is quite violent and quite graphic, including monsters ripping people apart

i guess it depends on her age though, but it is certianly MA for a reason

Meant more along the line of sexual. Violence is just violence, but I'd rather not watch, say, Elfin Lied with my little sister.

I don't think there is anything sexually explicit in the series.

Awesome then. :D
