yes, it's episodic. It's keeps getting bigger as it goes so to speak.

it any good? alotta people say its the shit but I usually dont watch episodic anime cuz i hate those kinds.

err, my apologies. It is not episodic. It has a central plot that it sticks to, it's not at all episodic.

edit: as for the anime itself - some love it, some hate it. At the very least, the first half is quite good, though some find the second half to get a little crazy.
