anyone else watching it? i'm on the last episode of the first series (fuji vs tezuka). it was a pretty good episode.. is the second season just the nationals/us opens?

Nationals are in the form of OVAs. New season happens after that, in a special training program to represent all of Japan.

I don't really get this anime , it's just matches of tennis right? Can you tell me how it can interesting? o.o Thanks.

I reached halfway to the first series (around episode 80-90) then stopped watching for some reason
I want to continue it but it isn't high on my list

i thought that at first too... then i got bored and decided to watch it since i saw the first episode on cartoon network..... but it's pretty cool... some of the characters are lame, but some of them are badass
