Good Morning guys. It's my first time on this subforum so yay me!

I'm looking for animes specifically similar to Code Geass, with the exciting drama, slight romance, extreme mind games and absolutely mind blowing episode after episode.

I've tried my best to search on my own for the greater part of a year now, but honestly the other animes I've watched that are supposed to be similar don't have the same thrilling feeling. Death Note, Eden of the East, Xam'd, Gurenn Lagann, etc.

It's not that the other anime are bad, just they aren't as good as Code Geass.

I probably sound like a super douchebag for the above statement, but to clarify I honestly did like all of the other animes I've watched, and I've watched dozens at this point. Seitokai no Ichizon, Darker then black, Baka and Test, FMA, bleach, naruto, sailor moon, soul eater, samurai champloo, casshern and sins, black butler, kenichi, gungrave, angel beats, trigun, tears to tiara, the list unfolds.

So this tailors back to my original question (phew this post is super long!), does anyone know of animes like Code Geass with the same elements?

I truly appreciate you taking the time to respond and answer to this post.

Death Note is the closest thing to Code Geass I can think of.

Haven't seen Guilty Crown, but I heard it was pretty good and similar to Code Geass.
