anime was gg, starting the manga its pretty much dissapointing me. The show just completely started sucking after griffith became a god it changes with all this demon crap and now their not even focusing on any storyline context and are just having gay little random battles with demons.
Now i see why they stopped the anime right after that last weird episode where caska got raped.

if you think the anime was better than the manga then you clearly don't have your priorities right.

talking about the part of the manga that continues off the anime, crap sucks they should have ended it off where the anime ended
currently on volume 28 and 99% of the pages i've seen are just of guts slashing up demons

I have no idea where volume 28 leaves off, but there's a wee bit more to it than that afaik

bro the manga is just straight up turning stupid now its headed towards the same direction as bleach. pointless hacking and slashing demon pictures with a very bland story. its been like 6000+ pages and guts hasnt even killed a god of death nor has casca gotten her memory back
i garuntee you another 20yrs from now guts will still not have killed any god of deaths and than the author will pass away due to old age, the author ran out of ideas and is now just making guts and his crew have random encouters of fighting monsters to prolong the series

I also feels that it goes downhill after The Eclipse. I want to see some sort of conclusion before the mangaka's age starts showing and they still just keep on a slow actual story progress while introducing useless minor characters that serves no purposes other than being comic reliefs.
The manga is still far superior to the anime, so one should simply only read The Golden Age arc first and then decide if the extra miles are worth the trouble.

i actually thought the anime was better, i just like seeing the animation and hear the character's voice dubbing it just makes the series more emotional b/c you can hear their tone and it sucks you in more
when reading i dont really feal the characters emotion or personality as much

heres a good example, and why ffx was so good. imagine just reading the jpegs of this it would have made the game alot worse. most people just like to lie to themself that the manga is better than the anime. there are alot of nuthuggers out there that cant admit something sucks when it does.
