I was a little skeptical at first when I saw the themes (science and survival) but pleasantly surprised as I progressed in the story.



In 2019 Taiju, a high school student like any other, tells his best friend Senku, a science genius, that he is about to reveal his feelings to Yuzuriha, a girl he has been secretly in love with for several years.

As the young man prepares to declare his love for her, a brilliant light appears in the sky and transforms all humanity into stone statues.

When Taiju finally manages to free himself thanks to the location where his best friend Senku had put him, he finds himself facing a completely different world where nature has taken back its rights.

But he's not the only one who woke up. His friend Senku, who preceded him in his awakening, tells him that 3,719 years have passed since the mysterious event, petrification.

Together they will have to combine the exceptional scientific skills of one and the physical abilities of the other to save the 7 billion human beings still petrified and discover the origin of this catastrophe.



The work is full of explanations of scientific processes in order to achieve the reinvention and construction of lost objects or technologies, such as the creation of soap, gunpowder or even antibiotics.

The work never stops trying to explain chemical and physical processes in order to recreate past inventions, always becoming more and more complex as the work progresses.

Was a good few seasons, dropped the last one or put on hold. Kinda took a turn where I didn't care for it.

Watched all seasons. Interesting and found it different, however I wouldn't give it a 10/10 even though I liked watching it. I haven't re-watched this like I have others that I would not even rate 10/10. Basically I am a critic that can not give a person the chance to watch something for themselves to watch based on my rating. (hope that made sense)

I dont know but i didnt like the childish behavior speaking of him like ten trillion times
The idea and the style is good tho.

I really enjoyed Dr Stone as well it has a unique story telling quality and it’s interesting to learn about the scientific processes involved
