Well, simply put a person found a child in the woods, looked after her as his daughter and taught her basic fighting arts... she went out on her own and became an adventurer and became an S rank adventurer... and of course the Guild monopolizes her rank and she finds it hard to return home to see here dear old dad and the village she was brought up in.

After losing a leg in a deadly encounter early on his journey, Belgrieve realizes that adventuring is not always as glamorous as he thought. His hopes of achieving fame and fortune have all but dwindled. However, fate intervenes when he finds an abandoned baby girl while collecting herbs. He takes her in and gives her the name Angeline.
Years later, Angeline follows her own path as a successful adventurer. Her aspirations do not include fame, wealth, or power. All she wants is to be reunited with her father, Belgrieve.
