Well he is just a vice captain sure he has a Bankai but Renji is only a support character he is no match for a captain. The reason he has been used alot though is cuz he's the stongest vice and has a bankai. This has been shown since his first apperance where he faught Ichigo in his town.

However Kube forshadowed Byakuya telling him not to use his bankai incase his got sealed saying they will need his. So Renji won't be a support character for much longer.

But anyway back to my point. He's only a vice his bankai is op as is. If they bump it up he will have to take the seat of a captain. Which we are seening now that Byakuya is out of the picture he will probably ("retire") and let Renji take over the squad. We are seening the same thing with Hisagi now also.

yeah never even knew hisagi had a bankai... then again, he doesnt even use his shikai.
i want to see kenpachi's bankai O_O

/e wasnt there a scene a while back showing kenpachi and ichigo fighting with kenpachi saying bankai, saying that this would happen in the future? or am i just making stuff up...

He doesn't like his zanpakuto when he faught Tousen and the Shark epsada he brought it up. He hates to fight like Kira does.

"I have to fight to protect and since I'm a shingami I must." (Hisagi during the shark epsada fight)

Zarakai's Shikai is already cool looking I can't wait to see his banaki also.

Na, the only thing close to Zarkai saying that is when he held his broken sword up after and asked for it's name. So yea made it. ^^
