his hollow powers were from that thing that infected his mother

and that also became his sword (? i think)

and Zangetsu was suppressing his Shinigami powers, but just a portion of it.

and fullbring is because this is bleach and kubo does what he wants

okay, plain and simple, The thing that we saw this chapter are Ichigo's QUINCY powers, they were used to try to suppress the hallow inside ichigo that comes with becoming a shinigami.

Eventually, The "fake zangetsu" was won over and he stepped aside and gave ichigo his real zangetsu. The powers he previously had are really from zangetsu. the part the quincy powers could not suppress

So i think that the shinigami power will overpower the quincy power, and he will be exponentially stronger, OR the two powers will mix and make a hybrid, who knows.

Nice to know my prediction on here several years ago was true about hollows and shinigami powers being in conflict driving his strength up and down, too bad I could never search through all that to find it :X



Actually nice plot development.... for once. Been way too long since we had actual interesting development instead of typical Kubo.

Fullbring powers probably came from his mother surviving hollow attacks while she was pregnant with him or before he was conceived or from his mother's hollow corruption.

Ichigo's powers came first from the white hollow which was absorbed by his Mom . After her and his Dad had sex and had him he had the powers of a Qunicy and Hollow powers. He then had his hollow or qunicy powers get stronger as he grew up and he saw "ghosts" (souls). Rukia then came after him after sensing a hollow (Ichigo) It just so happend Aizen sent out a hollow that faught Ichigo and Rukia which came to a suprise to her. She then stabbed him in the heart gave him his Shingami powers, so he now has Hollow, Qunicy, Shingami powers. The qunicy and hollow powers where there but very very weak/hidden so he could see Shingami/Hollows/Souls. Then he faught the Menos Grande along side Ishida and his powers went out of control. All his power he had was just flowing out of him and Ishida absored his reishi and shot it out as arrows. Through his training killing Hollows he meat Urahara and he unleashed his hidden Hollow powers. So now he has Qunicy powers hidden, Hollow and Shingami powers growning. Then he Faught Ikkaku, Renji, Zarakia, and Byakuka, and mastered his Shingami powers learning Bankai and then his Hollow powers broke out of control by Juha Bach/Zangestu to save his life, Ichigo would of died/lost if he didn't do so. Then he met the Vizards who had him bring out his Hollow mask so he could begin to master his hollow powers. Then when he went to Hecho Mundo he faught the Epsada and master his Hollow powers and we first saw "White" when he died and came back thanks to his hollow powers. Ichigo then fights Aizen and has his Dad help him fully master his Qunicy, Shingami, Hollowe powers by going Final Gestu Tensho (His "Qunicy" final form). After words he loses his powers just like Ishida did when he used his. So now Ichigo has no powers at all. Now is were Ginjo comes in play, he helps Ichigo gain his Fullrbinger powers he has long since hidden in him since back when his mother was pregnant with him. They said you must be attacked by a hollow to gain the powers. But she already had the hollow powers absorbed into her body making this able to happen. Ginjo then takes the powers for himself using his Shingami powers to absorb Ichigo's masterd fullbringer powers. Rukia then again stabs him in the heart letting Ichigo regain his powers like how Ishida's dad shot him in the heart to regain his qunicy powers. It is the only way a qunicy can regain there powers. And by her doing that Ichigo was granted powers from all the captains, vice captains, friends, etc. making him who he is now. Then in this arc when he fights Juha Bach his qunicy powers come out to save his life. So that brings us to this chapter where Juha Bach/Zangestu tell him the true about everything.

So All Ichigo has now is his Shingami powers he gained from all this friends and the other shingami and his Qunicy powers he regained by getting stabbed through the heart.



He clearly isn't gone. He was just a form of Juha Bach holding control over him. Watching Ichigo as he grew, like how Aizen did also.

That's a lot to understand, but I still have a few questions...

Final Getsuga Tenshou was the finalization of his Quincy powers? Was this the only showing of his Quincy powers at that point? Why did his dad know the ability if it's a quincy power?

I thought Enngetsu > Zangetsu was the powers he inherited from his father? ( this is evident in how they both use the Getsuga Tenshou/Final Getsuga abilities, If the Getsuga Tenshou was a hollow ability, his dad wouldn't know it.)
It says in episode 19 at around the 14:20 mark that Ichigo's powers up to that point were purely Rukia's powers- In this scene (Specifically the shattering staff process) Ichigo acquires his Shinigami powers for the first time.
Also, it appears that the hollow mask leaked out, as after the transformation was complete, he had it on. This leads me to believe that his Powers were not from his Mother's hollow infection, but from Ichigo's father's abilities, Enngetsu.

In Ichigo's inner world, was there a manifestation of his Hollow powers? I know that the white Ichigo was real Zangetsu, Ol' Man was [Quincy] Zangetsu, but i suppose then that the mask that the Vizards were drawing out was a manifestation that no one's seen?

Lastly, I'm pretty sure that the use of the Final Getsuga doesn't get rid of power set, it gets rid of his spirit energy entirely- So if my theory is correct, he still has Hollow powers locked up somewhere.
