Good episode. We're at an interesting point in time where both the anime and the manga are in great parts of the story [:

ace dies its sad the kid above spoiled it but it doesn't make it any less true



at this point in time the manga is only like 15-20 chapters ahead of the anime

the manga took a 4 week break after this arc before the next arc started

so i would assume after this arc in the anime will be a pretty long filler

they will stretch out the arc where they how luffy/ace as kids that will take 7-8 epiodes watch

probably

add that and probably small breaks in between epis and it will even out

I actually liked that arc. But that was because I read it in bulk as opposed to waiting week by week.

If the anime harps on that I'll just stick with looking forward to the manga til it's over, unless they do a good job on it
