Yea, that's how he made the vizard i believe

It wasn't revealed how he hollowified the vaizards. He wasn't in control over hokyoku when the vaizards got pwned. I think it was just because he was experimenting with the hollow that was attacking.

However its probably possible. Ichigo probably got his inner hollow by spending so much time around rukia when she was in the gigai containing houkyoku.

I was thinking somehow that the chains had in some sort of the houkyoku in it or something, or the powers were the same as the hougyoku

The chains urahara wrapped around ichigo when byakuga crushed him, ep 23 or so i believe

Hmmmm, the reason ichigo has an inner hollow is either.

1. He spent most of his time around rukia when she had houkyoku in her gigai and got exposed to it.

2. Since his chain ran out and he started transforming into a hollow it awakened his inner hollow.
