he only says he respects 1st because 1st is only person hes ever had to try to fight against

The way he said it was more of a he is the only ninja that could stop him. I mean who in Naruto had a chance against madara?

NO ONE can even lay a finger on him right now. The only people that could do anything to Madara were the 1st and the 4th. and see my edited post:

You just some jsp rand whos come on here saying that the 3rd is strongest are you retarded?
The 1st hokage is so strong just having his DNA in you, even the most minute amount is barely manageable
Danzo could barely control just an arm injected with his DNA, he could beat the 3rd hokage by just getting a needle and putting his blood in him lol

thats cuz 1st hokage's DNA isnt compatible with danzo due to him not being water/wind element for wood

Didnt you see him teleport the fox + its tailed beast ball which would have destroyed the village anyway????

My point was he within seconds of fighting Madara that he learned the flaw in his technique and shut him down.

This is while he had like 5 other things on his mind like Kushina and narutos safety, teleporting madara, kyuubi, and an enormous blast that would destroy konoha.

He shut down Madara on the spot with no prior knowledge of his ninjutsu or who he even was at the time, this to me is an amazing feat

Also when you say that Minato knew he couldn't stop the fox thats not correct either.

He was just insanlely intelligent enough to take his opponents advantage away with one move

he was already prepared for other stuff since he set up flying thunder god on each of them
ill give you that he could find out madaras weakness tho
