I have a theory
Okay so you have the Sage, and he has two sons
One son gets Yin - Uchiha
One son gets Yang - Senju

Anyways continue down, Minato seals the yin chakra in himself and the yang in naruto
Its been said that somewhere down the line, Uzumaki is related to Senju (Nagato Uzukumaki = Rinnegan = Direct descendant )

Anyways, i reckon Naruto got the yang chakra because he would have much more natural control of the fox and more specifically the yang part?

his mother had both yin and yang chakras sealed in her, so what does your theory have to do with naruto getting yang... and i thought minato put a key to the nine-tail's yin chakra inside the toad so that naruto can access the nine-tail's full power when he is ready

I would love a side story like kakashi gaiden. Explaining what happend to the whrillpool village or perhaps a movie. I also would like to know how big was the uzmaki name in that village. Cause they were renown for sealing techs I wonder why naruto never got that credit like sasuke " the soul survivor of uchiha " etc I would assume there isn't to many uzmaki left

he does have an affinity with the fox... it's called the fox is sealed inside him... also the sage was the 10 tailed jinjuriki, and since the 9 tails is closest in power to the 10 tails, of course the resemblance would be greater if the 9 tails host goes into beast mode
