a brand new 5 string fender P bass runs like $1,300 apparently.....

I really want a new bass.....still using a crappy squier j-bass.


Wanted something 5 string, with passive pickups and preferably something with a good amount of meatiness and power.

More on the lows/mids less on the highs, I guess.

also wanted something that was a bit more lighter than my squier, lol.

its like that with my pc, constant battle to try'n parts that work or rma ones that dont or just stare at lists of :awesomestuff: i can't really afford.

i mean, i could pull the less geeky alternative version out, n be like that with my guitar but
i haven't even played the damn thing since i've moved here, much less changed the strings in over 5 years.
although they're plastic/nylon, but .. still feels weird after so long.
