according to my brother, who heard from a source in Japan from an interview with Oda, one piece is entering a time skip soon.


Apparently Oda was lamenting over the fact that the new one piece movie, detailed in the 'Zero Chapter', would be the 'last time we see luffy as a young 17 yr old boy'



Of course its up for debate and I have no articles to link to, they might be out there on the internet if you look hard enough. And TBH I could see it happening, Oda is making sweeping changes to the series and I could def see a 1-2 year time skip as a possibility.

It seems reasonable, especially with Luffy's crew scattered to the wind and Luffy himself out cold.

One Piece is about 100 chapters ahead of Naruto and Bleach and is already much better than both of them. Im sure whatever happens it'll be good.

You're wrong thought, i got someone i know who draw oda's background, i contacted him about this, he lol'd.

I bet soon there will be no marines, island will be protected by pirates, same as fishman island with whitebeard.
