this is the only information you really need to decide who is the strongest in any anime.
it's always the main character who is the strongest in a typical shonen.
if he wasn't the strongest he wouldn't be the main character.

that isnt true...in kenshin his master was stronger than him and i am sure many other mangas/animes are the same

either way we arent arguing who would win in a fight.... we are debating on a specific fight where the weaker person at the end of the fight was also the strongest for A POINT IN TIME of the fight but it seems like some people cant understand that even when the manga clearly shows it

Oh we know that Aizen was stronger for like 5 seconds at the end of the fight after Ichigo threw away his powers, before Urahara's seal consumed him.

Btw Ichigo won the fight 100%.
He said to Aizen that he'd take him down in a single instant, and he did. Aizen didn't stay down? So what. Ichigo didn't say he'd stay down.

To be honest I really don't know how you could even think that Aizen was the stronger of the two for the most of that fight.
Ichigo overpowered Aizen from the very beginning. He forcefully moved Aizen to a different location, the force of his sword shattered mountains, he barehandedly stopped Aizens sword while Aizen thought he was using enough force to shatter Zangetsu, the list goes on.

trouble reading? i never said he was stronger than ichigo for most of the fight i only said aizen was stronger than ichigo yes i made a mistake early on and said ichigo didnt surpass him but aizen definitely was the stronger of the 2 at the end of the fight go ahead read my first line about this

and yeah lets use word play ichigo didnt mean he would defeat/kill aizen but he only meant he would help urahara with his plan even though him(ichigo) didnt know about his plan lol yeah ok

lol i also clearly stated that i was a mistake to say he didnt surpass him but in the same line i also said aizen was clearly the stronger of the two and if the battle had gone on without interruption from uraharas seal outside of main character hacks ichigo was a goner ive been stating this point in every single post about this that aizen was the stronger at the conclusion of the fight and urahara was the victor ichigo was nothing other than support

actually know what NO i will not count a minute of having the upperhand as surpassing him so no ichigo didnt surpass him he was MILES away from aizens power he got off an attack and aizen took basically no damage from it he was up and well and ready to continue the fight

and again yes ichigo had the upperhand this time they fought however aizen was still the stronger one and was temporarily defeated thx to uraharas seal

No...just no.

Ichigo was clearly stronger then Aizen, he dealt him a blow that would have been fatal if not for the Hyogku.

what....i mean i used an if urahara wasnt there but my point still stands without that. aizen was the stronger of the two. ichigo outmatched him for a portion of the fight sure...

you saying IF aizen didnt have something he went through i dunno the entire manga up until his sealing by urahara trying to acquire and then dominate just doesnt make sense

the fact is aizen DID have it and DID survive ichigos best attack and was sealed by urahara how is it this hard.. can someone who takes the time to type proper english please read those 2 or 3 chapters and explain ichigo only had the upperhand for a little while? and his grand finale did nothing except return aizen to his shinigami only powers
