Just in case you guys aren't aware, stabbing a shield leaves a terribly inconvenient retaliatory stun, I have no idea wtf he was thinking (was he unable to stop after he started the combo?), even if his sword didn't break, he was going to die due to the fact that there was no way he could recover in time.
Also, I disliked the show in the beginning, but it's grown on me. It's not a literary piece of genius, and the pacing is as horrid as it gets, but it's one of those anime I watch and feel good after, it's cozy & warm, regardless of the quality.

Dude mang
In 10 years, we going to play this
Trolling aside, it's true, in 30 years we will play something similar, except much better (no need to limit us only to swords, no need to enforce human-only generated content, imagine a game where the AI is intelligent enough to generate endless concepts, monsters, skills, combat combos, items, etc. I am pretty sure it was stated at some point that SAO had all of these features, but it did not seem so to me).
But honestly, in 30 years reality will be augmented to such a degree, the appeal of virtual reality won't be nearly as high.
