granted, aizen is obviously more powerful than the average captain, but i think it's pretty obviously that ichigo could rape the normal captain. if anything, he could keep up with normal captains bankai's in his shinkai form. so which captain besides aizen would ichigo have trouble with? the rest of them we can't really tell since we haven't really seen anyones full extents except for byakuya, soi fon, zaraki, tousin, hitsugaya, komamoru,and mayuri. i think it's safe to say that ichigo can beat any one of these pretty easilly, since zaraki beat both tousin and komamoru at the same time, and ichigo beat zaraki. soi fon and mayuri can't be directly associated with him being they haven't faced him yet (not counting ep181 since he wasn't trying ofc), but i think we can register as ichigo is stronger than uyuu, who beat mayuri, and it would be up in the air again'st soi fon until ichigo hits hollow.

tl;dr

It was a draw with zaraki even if zaraki said that ichigo won; ichigo would have most likely died if he wasn't healed. This is irrelevant anyway ; you can't compare 2 fighters indirectly. If a beats b and c beats a then that doesn't necesarely mean c can beat b as well. It's all about matchups , who can cope better against an oponents abilities.

In the fight with byakuya , they both underestimated eachother; ichigo got cocky when he wouldn't stand a chance against bankai , byakuya didn't want to believe ichigo had bankai , byakuya didn't expect ichigo to turn to a hollow just before the finishing blow etc
My guess is shunsui(the lazy captain) is of similar strenght and of course the commander general.

it would be true in some instances, yes. but not in this one. zaraki beat the 2 captains on pure reitsu alone, and ichigo apparently has higher amounts of it. the battle between zaraki and ichigo was a draw because ichigo was in shikai. although he doesn't get as significant as maybe others, he still does get a reitsu increase when he releases bankai, not including the massive speed increase. i'm sure he would figure out how to beat those captains just as the others had before him. regardless of seeming stupid, he's got instincts in fighting at least...

i'm not trying to jump on the ichigo badass bandwagon here, but i'm at least trying to be honest from what seemed quite obvious to me...

die- i don't read the manga, and i agree with paintball when i think very few actually do.

i never thought i'd get into a discussion about anything on bleach....sheesh...

Byakuya got destroyed by ichigo in hollow form when they fought, and since byakuya is probably one of the stronger captains ichigo should be able to E Z most captains. True, the hollow was in control but now that ichigo can get those powers and keep them under control then he should be even more powerfull.

I don't agree with that at all :/ This thread is for discussing the Bleach ANIME regardless of the spoiler warnings there should be no talk at all about the manga, it's just a dick move but i'm sure he didn't mean to spoil anything so it's fine the first time :/
