As for Kenpachi, it means the strongers shinigami in the gotei 13. Zarakai would still be the strongest he was only trained for 1 day and he's of captain class already, and doesn't even know his swords name.

You're not alone. Kubo has made it clear that Unohana is insanely strong. We just haven't seen it yet. Hell, look at her stats in the database. I think she's only second to Yamamoto and maybe Aizen.

Awesome chapter. Unohana was the first kenpachi? Zaraki Kenpachi is now going to learn how to use his zanpakuto, maybe even bankai? Kyoraku named head captain? Very good all around. This "pointless filler ending" now rivals the quality and awesomeness of the Soul Society arc.

If she heals herself then she can keep fighting. That might be something that helped make her the 1st.

I wonder what Kenpachi's true potential really is. They said that Yamamoto stopped training him after only one day out of fear that he would become too powerful. I have to believe that Kenpachi's power would at the very least be a match for Yamamoto's based on that.
