Hopefully they make MC suicide because he regrets it and gets to redo everything that just happened in this episode.


Yeah you got unlucky with the current episode.
Itll be worth hanging in for this shows been amazing for the past 12 episodes.

does he actually get stronger ? like can he stand his own against everyone or is he going to be weak forever?

Doubt he will get way stronger. I do however agree that this episode was hard to watch. Almost wanted to drop this.

considering he foolishly declared himself a knight and got his ass handed to him by and actual knight.
it's likely he'll prob go through some sort of training.

prob learn more about magic so he can actually make use of it (maybe from that healer he's suppose to meet)
and since Emelia left without him he definitely has time to train before he shows his face to her again prob.

maybe learn a thing or two from old man Rom or even Reinhart, since he'll prob hang with Felt for a bit i'm gonna guess.

I generally agree.

The show started out with a lot of potential.

It is like the author spent a lot of time world-bulding and writing the story-line for the first few episodes which showed much potential (and good writing).
But not many episodes in the quality of the writing has fallen and it is quite poor in my opinion.

There are so many other works with higher quality writing than this one.

I'm guessing it will eventually pick up and that the author is trying to make some sort of build up for a bigger impact later on, but I'm not sticking along for the ride.

I gave up on this anime when I wrote that response on the 20th. I should have gave up at ep 6 or so when it showed how really poorly they were developing the MC and the plot.

Everything about the first few episodes worked, even the cringy otaku jokes worked in the first 3 EPs even... After the first 3 ep's, if they delved into the MC's main life and somehow crafted a story as to why this developed... it'd make sense. But no, they even failed at making a villain since she's generic in every sense of the word. And managed to contradict her entire persona in one fight scene. I'll fight to the death, oh lol jk i'm outta here. But the way they approached it through storytelling made up for it. Then they got to the house, and I was like okay they could go many ways... but then it was like, tehehehe maids oh no the only way the plot can advance is if I earn their trust. Oh no, I died a lot because I failed although this could be condensed in 5 minutes but this is now the plot of the show. Sorry about the entire plot, we're gonna go this route because it's 24 eps and there's no way we want to put in any effort into a storyline. But here's some super duper OP house owner who's oh so nice but omg guys he's not because after 7 eps in we realize something! Let's an in a lolli, and the MC's bitch who literally does nothing but hang on his whim until they shove down their love interest down our throat.
