Sorry but subs for anime aren't made by the animators or the producers. Crunchyroll hires normal translators to translate your favorite animu. The only difference between these guys and fan subbers are salaries.

And yes, they make mistakes.

Now if you REALLY want official english subs from the producers of the anime, you better be prepared for mangled english that will leave you more confused than any fan subber ever will.

Translators getting paid does not mean their translations are better than someones who does it for free
Being in a company does not make someones translation better than someone who isn't

People make mistakes. People have different interpretations. People have different methods. Translation isn't always 1:1. Sometimes localization has to be involved so that the target audience doesn't get confused, e.g. japanese play on word jokes.
