that sounds pretty gay, my mom was thinking about getting a satellite also but i talked her out of its since there pretty expensive and there was no unlimited option which is almost a must have ( for gaming and downloading needs )

Yeah.. I'd have to move to get better internet. The only thing I can do is raise the download limit if I go to a business package. But it seriously isn't worth it. $400 to change my account from a residential to a business account then $180 a month for the internet. That's for 34gigs instead of 17gigs. I can switch to a one way satellite system with higher limits (like 45gigs before the speeds start going down) but then I have to sign into a contract for a year. I hope not to be living here in a year lol



One way satellite has better latency then tethering a cell to your computer.. but it still has limits. It would be like 200-300 ping.. last I heard cell phones push 400+ping

hmm never checked the ping on my phone, though i forget how XD ( wasn't it some command you type into the command prompt thing ? )

that or just check your ping on a game.. like D2
