he left the village for like 10 years and when he came back he had no desire to be anything more then a teacher because he realized the true kid of the village are the children

but he is a good ninja but no where near the status of his dad obv or other big names like kakashi etc

actually, I remember something about that. He became a part of some monk group didnt he? Iirc, he actually did have a fairly big name.

yar he got a big name / bounty in the monk group but his name is nothing along the lines of other ninja like kakashi, kisame, itachi, ochi, etc
