i cant really picture that. madara and sasuke have a common goal in destroying the leaf and sasuke doesnt have any cause for turning on him. sasukes personality will not allow him to reconcile with the leaf. the only only only possible chance sasuke has is w/e itachi put in naruto sways his heart.....but that would be boring imo. that being said, the entire manga has been built around naruto and sasuke going at each other either as rivals or enemies or both, therefor madara being the end game battle just doesnt make sense in my mind, i see madara as more of a steppingstone, a wall for naruto to climb over, that builds to the final climax. i predict there will be alot of references to the battle between the 1st and madara in the valley of the end. this manga can only be completed with one more epic battle between our two most major characters. two people with bonds as deep as 2 brothers that have chosen to very opposite paths. and even if sasuke and naruto do team up against madara, it wont be as allies, they will still duke it out afterwards.
(my personal opinion on the outcome of course)
but thats just a repeat of history
naruto is supposed to be the kid that can make friends with any one, i dont expect sasuke to return back to the leaf but i do expect him to stop his goal of the leaf destruction, i agree itachis gift will play a huge role, But naruto refuses to grow up and still maintains that he can save sasuke, if naruto fails then whats the point? i mean jiraya failed with ochi, first and madara went seperate ways etc,
see what im saying? naruto is supposed to be different and break the cycle of hatred of the world this is the burden his father and jiraya placed on him and i think he will succeed,
i think he will bring peace and pretty much be a second coming of the sage of 6 paths
