he is getting close to 30, there is pretty much nothing more he can teach naruto, naruto surpassed him after sage training  hell naruto surpassed jiryaya after sage training,  tsunda woke up so no reason for him to be hokage, and he dosent have a desire to be hokage

the only future i see for him is death,  there needs to be some losses on the join ninja force and there needs to be some leaf deaths to make the manga seem real, its war after all  full  world war. 

i honestly could see Sasuke killing him kakashi all tired and beat to hell and sasuke just shows up and  finishes him off after a 1- 2 chapter epic battle with kakashi at 1/4 str or something

this will help narutos resolve to fight sasuke for serious business!

He is the kakashi of his time, why put him in the same ranking as jiraiya
Kakashi is a whole different ninja and has his own reputation to uphold lol.
I think if kakashi and jiraiya went 1v1 tho i think jiraiya would win only slightly

Jiraiya has more power so hes a rock and obvious kakashi is strong but not as strong so hes scissors, but what if kakashi is actually paper?

Jiraiya is water elemented and kakashi is lightning elemented.
Not only that kakashi could easily counter any one of jiraiya's jutsu's
He has the mangekyo now and he has his dogs.
It will be a good fight if anything.

I already said kakashi is better, and no kakashi did not die against pain, he saved someone else and sacrificed himself.
