need an anime that is on par with claymore and fate stay/night in terms of action and it needs romance

he also wrote them not just directed
speaking of which his other project will be airing in spring i think its called like etsuna bridge or something... same world as durarara i would love to see some overlap i know nothing about the manga his stuff is always to obscure to get translated

looking for something like darker than black but with a less suckish storyline: modern anime with good action and people with powers that takes place is a big city...badass main character too

we all want another durarara but it's just not happenin

Huge fan of 'Ninja Scroll' and 'Akira'. Nothing was ever appealing again until I recently saw 'Claymore' (simply amazing!). Looking for this type of style in anime and hoping for a direction of where to go or names of similar nature (blood, sex, violence). This is kinda important to me (lol) because it's the only type of anime I actually enjoy and just finished Claymore :

blood, sex, violence.... "Battle Royale" comes to mind. Also try Monster, Elfen Lied. But if you like claymore, then try Psyren or Berserk
