im not saying for sure whether it's one or the other, i'm keeping an open mind because the crudeness of the translation

i'm defending both sides though

sennin=sage
kami=god
sannin=not a Japanese word
sannin=you defined this twice for some odd reason
Rikudo=a name


Rikudo Sennin=sage of the 6 paths.

sennin is sage, with different context than rikudo

sannin is slang for sennin


i defined both sannin and rikudo twice, but you're failing to comprehend arent ya

the way madara said nagato exerted himself so much he turned his hair white makes me wonder if the paper women didnt in fact alter nagatos body and the eyes madara has arent legit
