unohana is the only one who hasnt had enough revealed to see if she's plausible for the role. then again with her nature she would prolly take the diplomatic approach and have no need for fights or war.

I doubt Yamamoto is already dead. He's not someone who could just get 1 hit killed.

Unohana is depicted to be crazy strong and she's the oldest of the captains. So if a captain were to take Yamamoto's place, I'd predict it to be her or Ukitake. What if Kishi threw us a huge curveball and made Ichigo the new head captain? LOL He'd be like, "Oh yeah, Ichigo was aspiring to be the new head captain since he got his powers...did I not mention that?"

Hrm i dont think all quincies are that old but just juha bach. im sure quincies are just generations aside from juha bach(ofc their can be others just as old)

did it actually show a panel of the 3rd seat dying?

this whole bankai stealing thing is a bit wierd even though they've shown that a bankai is different from a shikai but i thought it was just a part of the shinigamis soul. not something physical say like starks arrancar split.

why do you suggest their being a traitor among the shinigami? due to how juha bach those infiltrated soul society and how juha knew exactly where aizen was being held? with aizen gin(double if not triple since he didnt want ot kill aizen for soul society but himself and matsumoto) kanami being traitors or betrayers i think we've had enough of that.

i think the quincy war was like 200 years ago where as juha bach is 1000+ years old so it seems soul society may have been made up of both quincy and soul reaper but then a difference in how to deal with hollows may have caused juha back being exiled or w/e

the quincy in the war could have been watered downed due to genetics or w/e and ishida those happen to be "pure blood" or osmething silly.

either way i hope tite writes a compelling story
