it really only makes sense that he is, seeing he knows natsu from previous ages, I wonder why zeref has memories from the previous ages and natsu gajeel wendy etc... dont
i also wonder how there reborn into a new age, natsu was clearly a young kid 4-7 and now a teen. another prime example of this is when laxus tried to take over FT and that magic wouldent let natsu or gajeel leave cause of the rule of not being able to pass if over age of 80
What would make sense is for Natsu, Gajeel, etc. to be time travelers although they're unaware of it. If you think of Freed's runes as being like programming, it would prevent people born before a certain date to pass through. That explains why Natsu ages like everyone else but was still considered "over 80".
If you think about it, Natsu didn't hang out with anyone else other than Igneel so would he notice if for whatever reason he was sent into the future? Probably not. It also explains the "sudden" disappearance of the dragons, and how Zeref would know about Natsu.
