Don't get me wrong, I love the current tag as well...but I am hoping to get one that better fits my avatar.


That and, when I mention gundam in this forum, the 90% of the uneducated residents immediately assume I am talking about Wing and everything post wing.

anywho my ballin ass internet connection even though it took me an entire month to get turned on (installed, some wait thing idk i blame the economy) even though it took so long i am instantly in love. clocked it at 14 average i'm about to play some haloreach while like 60 episodes download completely lag free faster than i could have ever hoped to achieve with roadrunner

I guess it does sound a bit elitist.....but at the same time, if everyone assumed DBZ was the original of the series, I'm sure the DB fans would rise up and summon a shit storm over 9000 pages long.

I just like to nag a bit because the original series had a lot of effort put into them and were very solid shows but most are ignored for the obvious quality differences between 1979 and 2000+

idk i've always felt that the gundam animation was weak... its all the same scenes cropped with new backgrounds and a different timing of the opening and closing mouth
i'm not familiar with the show or genre enough to confidentially criticize but i felt that since 1979 very little has changed except the packaging of a worn out fantasy...
but like i said i dont watch that stuff really... at least not for substance...
personal choice i'll go with rather than opinion



o how good it is to have the internet back i feel i can spend the rest of my night in peace now that i have had this little interaction with no strings of desire for things pulling open our mouths... or fingers as it were...

but, on subject about the gundam.....being as I have seen quite a good portion of the gundam universe (80% of the entire series or so), I can say that the cropping/repeating was WAY worse in 1979....I imagine back then it was a lot of work to put together an anime so they had to do that I spose.


In the more recent ones, it still happens somewhat, but with technology the way it is, they can change certain things about scenes to make them harder to lump together...IE: you might see the same death scene for a suit, but the daylight/background has changed....etc
