imo think of it like this
dragonslayer =/= godslayer
that is why he couldn't retain the godslayer magic

imo time traveling is very bad theme for a manga. No logic at all

If you read TWGOK, it has plenty of logic for time travel

it's a world of magic, since when would normal logic apply to something like that

My assumptions:
Jellal has asked Lahar and Doranbolt to release Cobra (even though he is a 2nd gen DS he's still a DS nonetheless)
Igneel is likely to show up with the rest of the dragons since he and grandine did have some conversation about the dragon king festival.
Since it is the Dragon king festival and Acnologia is the dragon king, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes an appearance. There might also be a connection between Weisslogia and Acnologia who knows!
Natsu will probably end up eating the flame dragon that FT is fighting in their 1/7th of the town (but i still think he will be weaking than rogue, and rogue will not be defeated by Natsu entering dragon force alone),
my final assumption is that rogue will die (or surrender his magic if that is possible) to stop this parallel future rogue from ever existing.

I'm hoping the arc ends with another brief appearance of zeref and more information on how he is going to stir the world again
