It doesn't seem like a filler, but it seems that Kubo is rushing a few things. I agree though, the series should have ended with Aizen as the main villain. Ichigo should have killed him, and that would have been it. So much time and storyline was invested in Aizen, that unless Kubo invests the same time and storylines into the head quincy guy, then it will be a dud, imo.

I don't agree that Aizen should of been the last Villain, but I agree that after Aizen it went shit.

I wanted Kubo to introduce the Squad 0 and the history of Ichigo and Ishida's Dad, I was hoping that somehow their past is connected to Squad 0.

if the spirit king shows himself in the capacity of preventing the quincy from their goals he better destroy the shinigami too for failing to do their jobs

as strong as ichigo is as a quarter human hollow quincy reptilian shinigami fullbringer etc quincy's being this strong is fine since humans some how affect the power of a shinigami to make it superrrrrrrrrrr strong...... rofl

would be funny if ichigo's dad is actually the human and the mommy was the shinigami and like rukia gave ichigo's dad his shinigami powers

Implying that he wasn't intentionally imprisoned to avert the slated Vandenreich invasion. The Vandenreich forces will decimate Soul Society and kill several captains (Yamamoto, Mayuri, Byakuya, Komamura).
Then, The Royal Guard will appear, leaving the Soul King vulnerable. Aizen will break out and formulate the Oken with the thousands of spirit particles from the deceased Shinigami

hrm 1st captain has proven he doesnt even need his shikai and with access to that alone in theory should be enough to wipe out these quincies so its going to be quite interesting to see how they take the 1st out again to let ichigo be the "hero" again
