i am sure the 1st liet death was to give us readers a feel that people(good guys bahaha) can actually die in this final arc but with unohana and orihime PFFT death for a shinigami is in a galaxy far far away



kenpachi endurance is ridiculous could prolly hold out vs both of these dudes before their reatsui alerts reinforcements  from either side

anywho w/e just show me ryuuken fighting and im happy



He might go against the head guy, the main antagonist of the arc, or his #2 as I said before. Byakuya got destroyed by a sternritter who we can assume is light years below the Top guy in strength. I doubt he would last 20 seconds in a fight against BB, maybe a bit longer against the #2 guy. Either way, I think he's in trouble.

kenpachi is fighting at full power byakuya didnt use so much as a kido(or did he meh i dunno) kenpachi is a monster

byakuya lost his bankai and it was being used against him that is why he got destroyed
kenpachi doesn't use that kinda thing so he should hold up pretty well vs them imo

I have never said I don't read it because I do and I have explained the reason why which is pretty much everyone's reason who still reads it....it only takes a minute to read and might as well just follow it until it ends to find out what happens.

going to need to explain or give examples of some of these fights that dont make sense?

most of ichigo's fight contain reason since aizen clearly thought them out

also ofc some were used to show us(readers) the capabilities of the fighters or fighter

fullbringer arc was clearly used to give ichigo his power back and those fights were clearly below what we saw from aizens group

Well, Kenpachi is set up to be in a unique spot different from the rest of the captains because he doesn't have bankai or doesn't need it. That alone gives me hope that he won't necessarily be killed so easily. But it's hard to say that he's going to come out unscathed. He DID just run into the boss man.

As an aside, does anyone find it stupid that we're entering the last arc of the series, haven't seen like over half of the captains' bankais, so this is the last chance we get to see them. What does Kubo do with this? Instead of showcasing the bankais, he gives the enemy the power to just take them away which pretty much means they're out of the equation. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

they aren't out of the equation cause when these guys take it they can use it too

Technically yeah, but it doesn't have the same effect. I think it would be interesting to see one of the sternritters take Kyoraku's bankai and use it though. I think it's just a more advanced game or whatever (Ukitake said he shouldn't use it with other people around) so I'm assuming that it's really gimmicky and tricky. I'd like to see a sternritter use it and then ultimately die because of it because he had no idea what the hell he was doing.

RIP byakuya, even though i dont think hes dead yet. i think hes holding on to life only barely.

he's not fighting the king, i think hes fighting the subordinate, the king has better things to do.. like you know push the story forward with head captain

I'm sure that the king has something set up for kenpachi, hes clearly not a dumbass.

also uryuu is about to get real bad ass this arc, i can feel it. hes about to go ape shit hero mode on this arc.
