I think Kenpachi will die. Look who he is going up against. Either Buckbeard or seemingly his #2 guy. If Byakuya wasn't safe, then Kenpachi isn't safe as well.

i think the liet of the 1st division is the only one of significance, we know to have actually died. and ofc it was off screen but his back story was an amazing result.

byakuya from the words of the guy with the "boss" was "appeared" or "appears" to have died whereas kira was confirmed by the enemy to have died but rose thinks otherwise

i am sure the 1st liet death was to give us readers a feel that people(good guys bahaha) can actually die in this final arc but with unohana and orihime PFFT death for a shinigami is in a galaxy far far away
