If you really want something that falls into category "not for kids", try either:
Shigurui
or
Mouryou no Hako
or
Aoi Bungaku
but I warn you, these are quite far from your standard anime type + I think Mouryou~ is kind of slow paced, while Shigurui is not and got plenty of action going on in every episode and Aoi Bungaku is series consisted of shorter stories (might be slow paced at times).
If you watch these and like, I think I could try and rec you some more, but you have to watch and tell me how good they were.
Allright, done watching, and letting you know as said.
After first episode of Shigurui I felt this will be good. But after half way through I felt something big missing. I no longer felt the urge to watch the next episode. So I was quite dissapointed at the end. Reason? Dunno
Then I felt like I needed something more colourful and casual, so I watched golden boy. Damn this was good. Didn't have any expectations, so it was a nice surprise. I'm not a big fan of comedy, because, it's rare that I find one I find funny. But when it's good, sure thing! The manga becomes fucked up though.
Mouryou is hard for me to rate because I lost it at the end. By the episode 10 I took a pause from the anime and began to read dragon ball from the start (because a friend of mine said I was no true anime/manga geek until I've fully read dragon ball, so I had to accept the challenge lol) and when I read all chapters I continued to watch mouryou. Though by this time I had forgotten all the names and all they did was talking about who did what and where and why.
Ok, so, I need something new to watch. I have no special genre or whatever. I'm open to everything that you can suggest and I THINK has potential to be good, so just throw them at me and I'll judge em by cover (LOL im srs)
