Both had animes that strayed from the plot of the manga because it was incomplete, and later had another anime made in order to stay true to the manga.

Original HxH never strayed though. It just ended.

And also HxH manga isn't complete, and as it seems now it really never will be. :P


I guess they just realized it's so god damned good that it was worth remaking for one more arc.
