I don't have a MAL. I think I made one 2006, but haven't updated that one for years.
Serial experiments lain seem to have a slow pace. Correct me if im wrong
Didn't like Black Lagoon that much, too many short stories, no real OMGBBQ plot.
Don't know what to think or expect from mnemosyne ;o

Lain is sort of slow but the plot is quite good. I think the second half of Black Lagoon was a bit more plot driven. Unless if my memory is totally failing me lol
As for Mnemosyne... It may jump around a bit too much for you though it is well worth a watch. A lot of the real plot driven shows have already been said x.x

Yep, but most recommendations were anime I've already seen. Nevertheless, found some titles I got interested in. Gonna check some out tonight. Will say if I liked them or not :3
