Looking for an anime

2 types

1st: protagonist is a villain, unexpected plot twists with tragic deaths/endings throughout the series.
examples: Death Note, Code Geass

2nd: romance with sad or tragic endings, preferably a school setting.
examples: School Days, True Tears, all the key animes.

Another good one that would basically match both those is Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.

If you like Requiem for the phantom you will for surely like Gungrave as well, I wouldn't suggest watching it right after though becuase there both kind of based on the same thing but they are different.

Or try Black Lagoon , I'm not even a fan of gun animes but all 3 are some of my favorite.
