€: for the kazekage vs gaara thing i gotta say that fact is they said every generation bring better ninjas and stuff and the kazekage wasnt that strong (from what the story tells that he got easily run over by few akatzuki members) so i think he was really afraid of gaara also for that fact the he with his powers can kill many in few time (innocents)

So I finally broke down and read the manga. I couldn't wait for the anime to progress the story line anymore.

sasuke almost defeat gaara, if gaara dosnt run alway on the chuunin tournament sasuke won.

sasuke got a little wound when he attacked.. gaara got a hand in the chest.... slightly different. but once gaara was able to use his full power sasuke got pwned.
