I mean, the author is just so good at these curveballs. Like literally I was following 100% of just "mizai is the ally, someone else HAS to be the connection" thing. I was even surprised to see that they think saiyuu is the one, I would have never guessed it was him. But HxH is all about complex relationships etc. I could just as easily see mizai being the connection, and maybe saiyuu has some other reason for failing the test.

compare them now to when they were younger and  check out the difference, you can really see them growing up it's not like other shounens where they spend 5 years being 10 years old and then have a time skip to spend another 5 years being 16 yaknow

there is no ressing in HxH brah

his goal was just to collect back the eyes that people have taken

When they the Legendary Seirin Group were displayed in Black & White in the anime. Geru was one of them (The snake Zodiac). She's a fucking antagonist and with Beyond Netero (spy in the zodiac) like I stated before in my theory. She's a snake so shes slips through without being detected (zodiac signs describe each of their traits). The guy at front looks like Netero. But it's not Netero which means the leader of the Legendary Seirin Group is Beyond. Nobunaga Hazama & Shizuku (Phantom Troupe) were also displayed at the very back. Geru is a poison hunter. Which family are resistant to poison? Zoldyck vs Geru incoming. My theory now has proof. I've also think I have seen the person next to Geru somewhere but can't put my finger on it I think it's the Hunter Association agent which Kurapika met early on before he discovered he was a specialist.
