How does my life come to play into this? I'm not trying to corner you or anything. I just misunderstood what you said when you said you read an LN spoiler. Shoulda just said you read the LN.
Sarcasm aside, to be spoiled in terms of anime is to be told of something that happens in the future before you intended on finding out.

he meant he read those to get a summary of what the content is so that he didn't have to read the entire thing if it didn't seem like he would want to.

Okay you're just being silly. I guess watching subbed anime isn't really watching anime.

Because subbed anime isn't translated? You can easily change the subtitles to change the entire meaning of what is said. Why do you think so many people hate specific sub groups? RUB A DUB DUB THANKS FOR THE GRUB.

and you don't take into account that people care more about the visuals?

Look at IS2 or Freezing

people don't give a shit if the trans is wrong or if its abridged its for the visuals. you're still watching anime.

you haven't read a single LN you've read translations of LNs

also i dont watch anime

i watch animu.

Do you see what you're saying? Reading a translated LN is not reading a LN. What am I reading then? Are you trolling me with broken logic?

A translation of a LN is still a LN. If it isn't a LN, then what is it? You're basically saying that all translated works are not what they should be. Dubbed anime is not anime. Subbed anime is not anime. Translations aren't their source.
