Well I can see why they are doing it.
For the first 75 episodes all or that had been animated before while Chimera Ant arc hasn't and the manga isn't ongoing.
I do hate some of the changes they have done like how Gon and Kite met and do wish they kept the pace they were going since it would make CA arc really really good but just seeing the fights animated will be enough for me.
