I'd say manga is better because it's normally ahead of the anime. This lets you spoil everything for the people who just watch the anime. Fuck you kids who don't do both!

Seriously though I like the manga because it's a nice quick read and doesn't waste my time. If I like a manga I'll watch the anime because I like watching the action.
