Though I'd prefer finished seasons etc. since nowadays I have to pick and choose my one day off a month that I can laze about and watch Anime/sleep.

really anything aside from mecha

Bakemonogatari
Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai
Katanagatari
Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai
Saraiya Goyou
Seitokai Yakuindomo
Strike Witches

Little mix of everything there but I found all those shows worth a good watch or two. All of them are finished as well. Some just finished within the past week.

IMO for comedy Seitokai Yakuindomo and MM! were the best. My two favorite shows ^.^
