Though I haven't completed it myself.. Ergo Proxy if you haven't seen it

I'm not really sure about genders and stuff,

but I think I'd like some recommendations for something slice of life anime. Can be in high school etc with comedy.
Something like Bakuman, haruhi, clannad (that's abit romance I guess huh), toradora, code geass (more fighting I know, but ok). I also enjoyed perfect girl evolution manga.
For example I think toradora was better than clannad, so I guess the anime doesn't have to be too cry-cry/sad like clannad! comedy > romance

I just tried watching dragonball, but I got to fortuneteller baba arc, then I wanted to watch something else. oh, and I really enjoyed hikaru no go and prince of tennis, so something like that might be ok to (allthough PoT really long)

anyways look page page or two and youll see a little mini list. almost all should be your genre just search them up on MAL (myanimelist.net) and see if you want to watch them.

I didn't say dragonball was bad, but just I wanted to watch something else after 60 or so episodes. I'll probably get back to it later some time I guess.
It just didn't catch my attention as some of the other shows have, and some of the characters were a bit boring/annoying (blue etc)

just a question: is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann worth watching?
