I'd also say no to that. I think Komamura is awesome, and I really like his bankai. I don't think we've seen him fight a fair fight yet. True, he fought Kenpachi and lost but I mean... it's Kenpachi. Hollowfied Tosen was also barely able to beat him, and Komamura probably would have won if Tosen didn't acquire those powers. Tosen in that state would probably beat most of the captains besides the 4 I mentioned earlier. And Komamura isn't gonna beat Aizen... that really wasn't fair. No, I think we're going to see Komamura actually do work now. And we'd better see the rest of the captains' and Urahara's bankais, dammit.

As far as someone actually dying though, how sure is anyone here that someone's gonna die? I'd be willing to be that one of the captains bites the dust. It wouldn't surprise me at all. Take Naruto for example... they killed Asuma np.

Bleach could of easily beat Naruto's ratings easy if the author just have te balls to kill one of the good guys.

I would probably like this manga a lot more if Ichigo had died vs Aizen.

Agreed about Hitsugaya. He had that one ice rain technique that was pretty badass. Other than that, he gets Ez'd. Gin could have (should have) killed him when Hitsugaya confronted him. Komamura is awesome.

With this new appearance and 17 months of "training to fight Aizen," he might be pretty good. Still, Byakuya said it takes like 10 years to learn how to use bankai. Of course, that doesn't apply to Ichigo who became the strongest character after less than a year, but I'm sure it would apply to Renji.

nope he could train for another hundred years but would still be on the same level of ikkaku...although if some1 as shity as hitugaya can become a captain then sure why cant renji
