all successful mangas have few things same:

1] the main hero is kinda an idiot (naruto, goku, and many others.."
2] they are kind
3] mostly theres something unnatural like haki, yoki, power level, etc..

4] extra bonus power, when "i want to protect my friends", "i will save the earth", "thats my way.."

Well, don't know 'bout the anime but the manga is one of the better ones of all time. If you disagree then we do not share the same taste ^_^

I find almost all animes boring actually. High-pitched voices with repetitive, drawn-out content and often ugly animations.
